Key Responsibilities- Pre-Operation Preparation: Clean and organize the work area, review documentation, and prepare the molding machine for operation.
- Machine Operation: Operate the molding machine, monitor output quality, and ensure that products meet NeedleTech's quality standards.
- Product Handling: Handle products with care, following all product handling procedures.
- Quality Control: Use inspection microscopes and toolmakers microscopes to verify workmanship and quality of products.
- Shift Monitoring: Monitor output during shifts to ensure standard run rates are achieved.
- Problem Resolution: Alert floor technicians, work leaders, or supervisors of any machine or quality issues.
- Documentation: Complete required documentation, such as work travelers and output logs, according to NeedleTech's Standard Operating Procedures.
- Communication: Communicate pass-down information relevant to job assignments.
- Cleanliness: Clean and organize the work area upon completion of shifts.
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience operating an injection mold machine is preferred. This position requires 6-12 months to learn equipment operation and apply basic to moderate measuring tool and microscope skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for eight hours.
- Task Execution: Perform related tasks as needed, following verbal and written instructions.
- Technical Skills: Comprehend drawings and use measuring equipment as needed.
- Lifting: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs or changeovers when needed, if trained and experienced.
