Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient assessments, nursing interventions, pump refills, dose adjustments, and patient education to patients with implanted intrathecal drug delivery devices.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans
- Administer medication and perform pump refills as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on healthy lifestyle choices and symptom management
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- 3 years of RN experience with 24/7 accountability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to travel within a designated area (up to 200 miles)
