Role Responsibilities:
As an Infusion RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering nursing care to patients with professionalism and compassion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and evaluating patients' health status upon their arrival.
- Performing the insertion and removal of peripheral intravenous catheters.
- Preparing and monitoring medications, administering premedications, and adjusting treatments based on patient responses.
- Coordinating follow-up appointments for patients.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of patient interactions.
- Assisting in managing medication inventory.
Qualifications:
This position is ideal for candidates who possess:
- A valid RN Degree.
- An active State Nursing License.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- At least 6 months of experience with IV insertions.
- 6 months of experience in infusion therapy, preferably in rheumatology.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in engaging with patients.
- Familiarity with NextGen EMT System or similar electronic medical records.
- Knowledge of CTP & ICD-10 coding practices.
