Job Summary

This position plays a vital role in the success of the business unit at Prisma Health. As a Business Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for applying a comprehensive knowledge of departmental operations to manage the business operations. Your duties will include development and management of departmental knowledge base sources, reference resources, presentations, and planning, analysis, and implementation of efforts in support of the full development of the division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all operational activities, presentations, and education sessions amongst all departments within the business unit.
  • Manage the divisions new staff onboarding process, including procurement of technical resources, departmental function overview, alignment of departmental resources, and requisition creation and tracking.
  • Manage divisional communication updates to ensure all leaders comply with necessary team members requirements.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations with the assistance of their assigned leader.
  • Assist in facilitating divisional meetings amongst all stakeholders and coordination of all activities related to those sessions.
  • Build, maintain, and manage the divisions knowledge base.
  • Focus on special divisional projects as required.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business management, healthcare administration, or other related field of study.
  • 2 years of experience in healthcare, finance, or operations.
In Lieu Of

In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, ten (10) years of industry experience.

Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities
  • Knowledge of office equipment and basic computer skills including work processing, spreadsheets, databases, and data entry.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or health plan environment.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Mathematical skills.
