Overview:
As a vital member of the maintenance team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for evaluating, fixing, and performing preventive upkeep on all machinery within the facility, ensuring optimal functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
The technician's duties encompass:
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Installation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of industrial equipment
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations
- Cooperation and mentorship of fellow team members
- Safe operation of tools and machinery
- Utilizing technical manuals and schematics for problem resolution
- Accurate completion of necessary calculations
- Frequent updates to supervisors regarding maintenance progress
- Thorough documentation of maintenance activities
- Execution of various tasks, including carpentry and snow removal
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dedication to continuous learning and skill development
- Expertise in multiple areas such as hydraulics, welding, electrical systems, and pump maintenance
Physical Requirements:
This position may involve occasional lifting of up to 55 lbs. and performing standard maintenance tasks across diverse work settings.
