Job Title: Ski Technician

We are seeking an experienced Ski Technician to join our team at Catamount Ski Resort LLC.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Job:

This role involves tuning and repairing alpine skis and snowboards for guests and rental departments. Key responsibilities include identifying faults and damage, estimating labor costs, educating customers about regular ski maintenance, sharpening edges using machines and hand tuning, and managing inventory of ski supplies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer Service: Providing outstanding service to guests and customers.
  • Tuning and Maintenance: Knowledge of ski and snowboard makes and brands, as well as experience in tuning, edging, grinding, and waxing.
  • Safety and Certifications: Certified in ski mounting, torque testing, and DIN settings, with courses in Wintersteiger equipment use and maintenance preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Physically fit, able to lift up to 60 lbs, and work safely around loud machinery.
