Technical Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot, preferably Java 21 or above
  • Experience in working with web services and microservices
  • Experience in design patterns
  • API design and development on Google Cloud Platforms
  • Routing algorithms using Java technologies
  • Integration solutioning for APIs with DB, search engines, and third-party services
  • Experience in CRUD operations in Postgres, Google BigQuery, and GCP instances
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Experience in working with JIRA, Jenkins, version control, and code quality tools

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and develop industry-specific solutions based on client requirements
  • Manage and upgrade existing applications
  • Design and develop re-platforming to new Java-based API services
  • Ability to design migration from existing API to new API design
  • Ability to translate client business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, databases, and data modeling/design techniques
  • Provide inputs and direction to senior developers on the team for design and implementation
  • Responsible for running design and development calls with offshore teams and owning the development of new API design with DB, search engines, and third parties
  • Ability to define integration scenarios in the design
  • Maintenance of code repository and coordination for automated build deployments
  • Define implementation processes, quality gates, and standards
