Behavioral Therapist

Pediatric Therapeutic Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide school-based services for a local district in Upper Bucks County, PA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based programs as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This includes providing daily modeling and teacher education, ensuring behavior intervention strategies are implemented with high treatment fidelity.

• Implement ABA based programs as directed by the BCBA
• Provide daily modeling and teacher education
• Work with crisis team to de-escalate behaviors when applicable
• Collect data on all programming as directed by the BCBA
• Advises and consults with the family and other agency personnel with BCBA oversight
• Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures
• Proficient in a variety of behavioral technician skills
• Participate with all other interdisciplinary team members effectively and efficiently
• Attend team meetings as required
• Adhere to Agency standards and consistently interpret and accurately perform all assigned responsibilities
• Maintain acceptable attendance status, per Agency policy
• Demonstrate effective time management skills through daily documentation and infrequent overtime for routine assignments
• Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking and decision making
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Perform other duties as assigned
