About the Job:

Rational drug therapy is a top priority for our team. We're seeking a skilled Pharmacist with Clinical Expertise to review inpatient and outpatient medication orders prior to dispensing. This role involves evaluating new orders against existing patient profiles and providing appropriate pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include detecting and communicating potential drug interactions and allergies, as well as ensuring accurate dispensing of prescription medication.

About the Ideal Candidate:

Our ideal candidate is a highly skilled pharmacist with experience in hospital settings. A PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy is required, along with a current New York State License and Registration certificate as Pharmacist. Preference is given to candidates with previous hospital experience. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing prescription medication to inpatients, outpatients, and employees as per departmental policies. They will also collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
