  • Proactive Troubleshooting: Perform proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of enterprise systems to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
  • Alert Response and Escalation: Respond to alerts and escalate issues identified through monitoring tools and tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • System Support: Provide direct support for system issues, outages, slowdowns, and interruptions to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • IT Service Desk Support: Answer overflow calls during first shift and take second and third shift phone calls and tickets for the IT Service Desk.
  • Issue Documentation: Thoroughly and comprehensively document procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and process improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience with Windows and Linux system administration, familiarity with SolarWinds Orion or equivalent monitoring platforms, and knowledge of Cisco, CheckPoint, and other enterprise network and firewall platforms.
  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
