We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Ground Up Large Projects in the Construction industry.
About the Role- Oversee all phases of large-scale ground-up commercial projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage and coordinate with the project team and subcontractors on a daily basis, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules to be shared with clients and other staff members, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Implement an effective communication strategy for the resolution of construction issues and conflicts, ensuring a positive outcome for all parties involved.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques, adhering to industry best practices.
- Inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to, preventing any unsafe conditions and promoting a safe working environment.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and other construction professionals regularly, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Extensive experience in managing large commercial construction projects, specifically ground-up projects, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines, with a focus on safety and quality.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, architects, and other construction professionals.
- Proficient in construction management software, with a focus on streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
- A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous, but not required.
