Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Waimanalo, Hawaii.
Key Responsibilities- Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients prior to examination, adjust x-ray equipment, and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
- Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and answer questions.
- Prepare equipment for use as needed, prepare examination rooms for patient exams, and position patients for imaging exams.
- Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams, produce diagnostic images, document exam information, and report important information to physicians.
- Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required).
- Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification (required).
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred).
