This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Outpatient Physical Therapist at Eskenazi Health's West 38th Street Eskenazi Health Center location. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide a wide range of medically prescribed physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients experiencing orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient diagnoses and develop short-term and long-term goals
Apply diagnostic and prognostic tests to measure muscle, nerve, and joint function
Establish a plan of care to restore function and prevent further disability in the presence of disease or following injury/surgery
Adapts treatment appropriately based on the age and cultural background of patient
Provides client-centered education and implements appropriate and timely treatment based on evaluation of patients' physical and psychosocial needs
Requirements:
Graduate of APTA approved curriculum
Licensed as a Physical Therapist in State of Indiana or eligible to do so
