The Warehouse Clerk is a key member of the Creekstone Farms Premium Beef team, responsible for supporting and monitoring warehouse activities throughout the shift. This individual will work closely with the Warehouse Team to maintain impeccable processes and perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Assist warehouse customers by opening the locked front gate and back door, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Inventory Management: Monitor Stock Room activity, complete paperwork for items removed, and allocate checked out items in Aspen Canopy by generating an adjustment journal daily.
- Tool Maintenance: Engrave knives and tools with the RMI Laser system using SymbolWriter Pro software.
- Documentation: Scan purchase orders and receipt documentation into Aspen Canopy using a copier/scanner.
- Inventory Control: Perform weekly cycle counting of stock room inventory, set up new item locations, and label inventory.
- Receiving and Stocking: Receive and stock purchased goods inventory in designated stock locations.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain the Warehouse, North Dock Racks, and Receiving Dock, Red Room, Bag, and Box warehouse housekeeping.
- 5S Implementation: Focus on visual order, organization, cleanliness, and standardization.
- Year-End Tasks: Participate in year-end cycle counting and file purging.
- Trailer Operations: Load and unload storage/transfer trailers.
- Data Entry: Perform data entry and computer literacy tasks, requiring working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Additional Duties: Perform all other duties that support the Warehouse as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Technical Skills: Be functional with basic office software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google, and Internet navigation.
- Professionalism: Exhibit superb professionalism in all forms of communication at all times.
- Confidentiality: Ability to meet deadlines on time and handle confidential data with discretion.
- Attitude: Maintain a positive attitude while working with frequent interruptions.
- Physical Demands: Climbing, stooping, and crouching occasionally; standing for 8 or more hours per day; walking frequently; pushing, pulling, and grasping to move materials in the warehouse; must be able to lift and carry for short distances; 0 – 50+lbs; able to work in a warehouse environment; wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) occasionally – hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety goggles, hair/beard net, etc.
