We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
- 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and measure medications.
