Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Grx Holdings LLC. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and services, ensuring compliance with professional standards and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Management: Interpret written prescriptions, check for drug interactions and allergies, enter prescription and patient data into our computer system, and provide prescription information to our Pharmacy Technicians for filling.
  • Patient Counseling: Serve patients by counseling over the phone and in person, conveying pertinent information regarding how and for how long the medication should be taken, and answering patient questions.
  • Inventory Management: Review inventory daily, place orders for medications as necessary, and maintain adequate supplies without overstocking.
  • Billing and Compliance: Ensure proper billing occurs when the pharmacist on duty in compliance with insurance plans, CMS, and/or board of pharmacy.
  • Customer Service: Counsel patients to ensure that patients understand their treatment program and to ensure that treatment goals are being met.
  • Professional Development: Maintain current state pharmacy license and working knowledge of all aspects of our computer and cash register systems.
  • Store Operations: Maintain store competitiveness and profitability by controlling operational expenses and maximizing sales.
  • Security and Compliance: Comply with all security/loss prevention procedures, including setting alarm, securing safe, etc.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's level degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited Pharmacy College.
  • License: Active and unrestricted Pharmacy license in the state.
  • Experience: One to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
