Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team. Ideal candidates should possess qualities such as warmth, passion, and a collaborative spirit. Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and executing developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with our educational philosophy.
  • Addressing the unique needs of each child by fostering play, exploration, and learning.
  • Partnering with families to develop inclusive and culturally relevant classroom experiences.
  • Creating a fun, safe, and inviting classroom atmosphere.
  • Conducting quarterly assessments for each child and maintaining detailed portfolios.
  • Engaging in professional interactions and effective communication with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Adhering to all requirements set forth by licensing agencies.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED for Assistant Teachers; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field for Lead Teachers, with at least 6 credits in Early Childhood Education.
  • CPR and First Aid certification or a willingness to obtain certification.
  • Proof of TB Test, TDAP, MMR vaccinations, and immunizations.
  • Proof of Covid vaccination.
  • Physical examination.
  • Food Handlers Training Certificate (to be obtained).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Compliance with all additional City and State licensing requirements.
