Compensation Package

Our competitive compensation package includes an estimated annual salary of $123,000.00.

Responsibilities

As a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients in a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide palliative care to patients with diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Educate caregivers on disease management, advance care planning, medication administration, and end-of-life expectations.
  • Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team to review patient assignments, discuss complex cases, and coordinate care between community medical providers and other disciplines.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with inpatient hospice clinical liaisons to facilitate patient care at the end-of-life stage.
Team Environment

You will be part of a dynamic Interdisciplinary Team consisting of a physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, and medical social worker. Regular team meetings ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
