Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team at MyCareers. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical assessments on Veterans, reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal and performing in-person physical exams.
- Document exam findings electronically through the web portal, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
- Work independently, analyzing data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Meet productivity standards, completing 3-5 assessments per day, on average.
- Collaborate with the United States Veterans Administration to ensure accurate and timely assessments.
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
