Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at SandsRx. This role involves nonsterile compounding following USP 795 standards and managing inventory for the compounding department.

• Prepare compounded medications in accordance with USP 795 standards, ensuring accuracy and precision in all work performed.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of USP 795 guidelines and industry standards for nonsterile compounding.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow within the compounding department.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements regarding the preparation of compounded medications.

• Manage the inventory of the compounding department, overseeing stock levels of raw materials and supplies to ensure optimal inventory control.
• Perform regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory items.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
• Current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) and state licensure in good standing.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in nonsterile compounding and inventory management.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
