Job Summary

PennState Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory therapy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert respiratory care to critically ill patients, including airway management and secretion removal.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Respond to emergency calls and evaluate patient needs for airway care and secretion removal.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory therapy.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • AHA BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.
  • RRT credential awarded by the NBRC preferred, required within 6 months of start date.
