Welder Specialist

This position will be responsible for various types of weld preparation, including MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel, as well as robotic welding.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of fixture and weld setup parameters, process inspection, certification, and documentation. Additionally, they will be responsible for welding equipment maintenance, safety, and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirements.
• Working knowledge of fixture and weld setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
• Process inspection, certification, and documentation.
• Welding equipment maintenance, safety, and housekeeping.
• Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools, as well as conventional and precision measuring instruments.

Requirements:

• Proficient in assigned welding techniques, including robotic welding experience.
• Knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and other materials as needed.
• Embraces lean philosophy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
