Position Overview
We are in search of a psychologist to perform Medical Disability Evaluations (MDE) for veterans seeking disability benefits related to mental health issues such as PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and eating disorders through the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) program. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed mental health assessments and delivering medical opinions, all focused on aiding our nation's veterans.
- Location: Clinic setting where you will engage with veterans directly.
- Schedule: Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited institution.
- Licensure: Must possess an active, current, and unrestricted psychologist license.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations for a variety of conditions.
- Provide expert medical opinions regarding mental health claims.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and VA regulations.
- Engage in assessments, consultations, and training activities.
- Fulfill all responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
