We are seeking a skilled Aviation Assembly professional to join our team at Aerotek. As an Aviation Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting aircraft components, ensuring high-quality products that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and inspect aircraft components, including metallic and composite parts.
  • Follow work instructions and be accountable for work performed.
  • Perform any other incidental duties as may be needed.
  • Use common hand and power tools, and understand and use simple drawings & sketches.
  • Identify and properly install fasteners and sealants.
  • Fit check and assemble detail parts.
Requirements:
  • Military or aerospace industry experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic inspection gauges.
  • Use of common hand and power tools.
  • Understanding and use of simple drawings & sketches.
  • Fit check and assembly of detail parts.
  • Identification and installation of fasteners and sealants.
  • Good math skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English.
  • At least 1 year of aircraft assembly experience.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is generally favorable, with adequate lighting and temperature. The work is generally performed within the prep area of the processing building, and may involve extended periods of sitting and standing.
