Job Overview

Shalom Austin is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to lead our Spin classes. As a key member of our wellness team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and safe group exercise programs that meet the needs of our diverse membership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and lead Spin classes that cater to different fitness levels and interests
  • Develop and implement effective exercise programs that promote physical activity and wellness
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all participants
  • Collaborate with other team members to promote our wellness programs and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in group exercise instruction
Requirements
  • Current certification in CPR and AED
  • Valid professional certification or degree in a related field (e.g. Group Exercise Instruction, Kinesiology, Physical Education)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience in group exercise instruction
  • Specialized certifications or trainings in areas such as yoga, Pilates, or kickboxing
