The Fatherhood Advocate will play a crucial role in promoting positive father engagement in the lives of children. This position requires a strong understanding of the importance of father involvement and the ability to provide training, resources, and support to adult, teen, and adolescent females.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs to educate adult, teen, and adolescent females about the role of fathers/father figures in the lives of children and families.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community agencies and groups that serve mothers and families.
- Attend community events to promote Project FACT and provide information and resources to empower fathers/father figures to become more involved in the lives of their children.
- Monitor achievement of Project FACT performance outcomes and prepare monthly progress reports.
- Participate in ongoing professional development training and abide by Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County's rules and program guidelines.
- BA degree preferred or minimum of five (5) years' work experience in social work, education, or youth development.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels within and external to the organization.
- Proficient level of knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or relevant position software programs.
- Valid Florida Driver's license with safe driving record.
