Be part of a groundbreaking initiative that is set to transform the infrastructure landscape. Flatiron Construction Corp is seeking a dedicated Water Resource Engineer to contribute to our ambitious projects aimed at enhancing economic growth and environmental sustainability.
This role involves critical responsibilities such as:
- Collecting and analyzing cost data to effectively monitor project budgets and estimates.
- Applying resource management principles and technical expertise to construction projects.
- Collaborating with engineering and field teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources for uninterrupted project flow.
- Reviewing environmental assessments, survey reports, and other relevant data to identify potential engineering challenges.
- Designing innovative and cost-efficient irrigation systems that adhere to all project requirements.
- Preparing detailed site plans, specifications, and environmental impact assessments.
- Monitoring job site progress to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Providing technical input for project planning and scheduling, while identifying potential risks that could affect project timelines and budgets.
- Documenting daily activities and updating project schedules for management reporting.
- Managing Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensuring accurate project financial reporting.
- Supporting the engineering team with quality assurance and safety compliance.
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of construction engineering experience.
- At least 7 years of civil or structural engineering experience, with a focus on irrigation.
- Field experience in agricultural irrigation installation is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of resource monitoring techniques and construction technology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
