Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to obstetric and gynecological patients, including those with high-risk conditions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients, including vital signs, medical history, and laboratory results
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner
- Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado
- At least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery or a related field
- Intermediate-level certification in fetal monitoring (NRP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Travel experience as a nurse
- Experience working in a labor and delivery unit
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology
