Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Retail Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
  • Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles.
  • Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.
  • Monitor productivity of the team and coach as necessary.
  • Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities.
Requirements
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player with ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour.
