Job Summary

As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside our Walmart stores, you will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish your days of practice and hours of operation
  • Control your patient schedule and set your fee schedule
  • Keep 100% of exam/professional fees
  • Option to opt into equipment/instrumentation, administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services (if state allows)
Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school (if applicable)
  • Valid state ophthalmology license (if applicable)
  • General Liability Certificate
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
  • W-9

This is an independent lease holder opportunity with Walmart Stores, Inc. You will have the autonomy to establish your own practice and schedule, while still benefiting from the resources and support of a large retail company.
