Job Title: Hydrologic/Hydraulics Engineer

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Professional Engineer with expertise in Civil Engineering, specifically in Hydrology & Hydraulics analysis and design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare hydrologic & hydraulic calculations, exhibits, and reports for civil infrastructure improvements.
  • Collect and analyze data, create computer models, and design complex detention/retention systems.
  • Evaluate and mitigate the impact of proposed designs on surrounding areas.
  • Prepare plans, calculations, and checklists for NPDES permit approval and compliance.
  • Monitor construction progress and inspect for compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Monitor project costs and changes against budget.
  • Review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D stormwater management software.
  • Proficiency in HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS, SWMM, is preferred but not required.
  • 2-dimensional Hydraulic experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Infraworks required.
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS required.
  • Minimum 3-7 Years of previous civil engineering experience is preferred.
  • PE license preferred.
  • GSWCC Level II Certified Design Professional or ability to obtain within six months.
