Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in various units, including MedSurg and Critical Care.
  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments, and monitor patients for side effects and effectiveness.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and care provided.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines, and apply that knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • 2 years of combined experience in MedSurg and either Critical Care or Emergency Department required.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • RN License in state of employment or compact.
  • BLS required.
