Job Overview

RPM Property Management is seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to join our team in Arvada, Littleton, and Denver. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process, including generating renewal notices, processing move-ins and move-outs, advertising and showing vacant units, and participating in the make-ready process with the Asset Manager and Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the leasing process, including generating renewal notices and processing move-ins and move-outs
  • Advertise and show vacant units to potential residents
  • Participate in the make-ready process with the Asset Manager and Maintenance to ensure units are move-in ready
  • Generate leases and ensure units are properly prepared for new residents
  • Answer phones and process service issue requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Process rent checks and make deposits in a secure and accurate manner
  • Assist with resident relations, including rent collection and rules enforcement
  • Minimize unit downtime to maximize revenue and ensure units are move-in ready
  • Assist with resident activities and events
  • May respond to emergencies, including after-hours situations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with college courses in related fields preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a leasing agent
  • Knowledge of modern property management software, such as Rent Manager
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Colorado leasing and property management laws
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
  • CAM certification desired but not required
