About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our sleep center, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with sleep disorders, including those experiencing sleep apnea, insomnia, and other related conditions.
  • Conduct sleep studies using various equipment and technologies to diagnose and treat sleep disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, working closely with medical directors, clinical directors, and managers.
  • Provide excellent patient care, educating patients on sleep disorder management and promoting overall health and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to HIPAA and privacy policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:



  • A minimum of 1 year experience as a sleep technologist.
  • Certification in Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH) or similar credentials.
  • New Jersey State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Scheduling flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Compensation and Benefits
