We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant to join our team at Linden Square Assisted Living Center. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize all resident apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows.
• Empty resident waste baskets and check for any valuable items.
• Clean and maintain all common areas, including the dining room, beverage area, lobby, and community room.
• Dust and polish all furniture, lamps, and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Check furniture for debris and report any damage to the supervisor.
• Properly dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Operate equipment such as vacuum cleaners, washing machines, and steam irons.
• Communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, and supervisors.

• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, bend, twist, turn, stoop, squat, sit, kneel, pull, push, and walk long distances on hard surfaces.
• Able to perform physically repetitive work.
• Able to tolerate exposure to cold and hot temperatures.
• Able to work with strong smells and chemicals.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
• Emotional stability to handle resident care needs, including chronic illness, challenging behaviors, and dementia-related issues.

• $13.00-$15.00 per hour.
• PTO package.
• 90-day performance review with potential 2% raise.
