About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Care of Lightfoot. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough and compassionate dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Conduct thorough medical and dental histories, and perform patient screenings as needed.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical techniques and technologies through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Virginia.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems (preferred).
