Available Positions: Full-Time & Part-Time, 9am-9pm in the Emergency Department
Role Summary:
The Advanced Practice Provider will play a crucial role in delivering medical care, focusing on diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health services as assigned. This position involves providing professional nursing care to clinic patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize professional knowledge and practice regulations to assess and evaluate patient care.
- Implement acute and chronic care protocols, administer medications, and provide physical care as per treatment plans.
- Observe, assess, and document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, while measuring and recording physiological and growth indicators.
- Conduct medical examinations following standard medical procedures.
- Make informed decisions within the scope of a dependent medical practitioner.
- Possess knowledge of medications, including indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and respond to correspondence effectively.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree required.
- Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA program.
- A minimum of one year of experience, preferably in a hospital environment.
- Current Kansas licensure is essential.
