Job Summary:

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Golang Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud and microservices team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and efficient software solutions using Golang.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop REST APIs for high-volume clients from scratch
  • Develop and support full-scope customer-centric web applications using modern technology stacks
  • Work with Git on small to medium-sized teams
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or Cassandra
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of overall backend programming experience
  • At least 2-4 years of overall experience with GO/Golang
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs for high-volume clients
  • Experience in application design, software development, and testing, preferably in an Agile environment
  • Experience working with container and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience working with AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Kafka
