We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team at Private Home Care. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our elderly patients and those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Provide transportation assistance, including using a Gait Belt or Hoyer Lift, to ensure safe mobility
  • Remind clients to take their prescribed medication and assist with medication management
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, as well as completing client shopping or accompanying them to the store
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Report any unusual incidents or emergencies and respond promptly and responsibly
  • Offer activities that promote daily living, such as serving meals and assisting with daily tasks

Requirements:


  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs and provide physical assistance as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Reliable transportation to and from client homes
