Clinical Assessor

Directions for Living is seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a critical role in providing initial assessments and introducing new clients to our services. This is an office-based position that requires a strong understanding of mental health principles and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments and interviews with new clients to determine their needs and develop a plan for support.
• Assist clients with intake paperwork and make referrals to internal services as needed.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote mental health and well-being.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication with clients.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Human Services or a related field.
• At least two years' experience working with a psychiatric population.
