Lit Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lit Member to join our team at Wenatchee High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging in the Professional Learning Community framework and continuous improvement process to grow a school-wide focus on instruction, learning, collaboration, and results.

• Collaborate with the principal and other team leaders to support high-performing teams by sharing out grade-level progress toward meeting goals.
• Partner with administrators to support a positive and productive team culture.
• Develop goals for student learning and identify and communicate professional development needs.
• Facilitate effective PLC meetings by nurturing a team culture of trust and interdependency, focusing on the 4 PLC questions, upholding team norms, creating agendas, and modeling a belief in student ability.
• Engage in the continuous improvement process to improve student learning and facilitate the organization and maintenance of instructional unit plans.

• Certificated member of Wenatchee High School.
• Good communicator and facilitator.
• Effective at getting student results.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Able to work well with others.
• Desire to continually learn and dedicate to constant improvement.

This position does not qualify for health insurance or paid leave benefits.

The recommended applicant will be required to complete an INS I-9 form and provide proof of employment eligibility prior to working.

Pursuant to Chapter 486, Washington Laws of 1987, the recommended applicant will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating whether he or she has been convicted of crimes against persons listed in the law.

A background check, based on fingerprints, will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI. Employment is conditional based upon completion of the record check.
