We are seeking a skilled Mold Setter to join our team at Staff Management | SMX. As a Mold Setter, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and production processes at Heartland Automotive.

• Verify the status of molds to be installed or removed during each manufacturing shift.
• Remove molds from press after shutdown and return them to their proper storage location.
• Set all molds and auxiliary equipment according to mold set-up instructions and procedures.
• Connect water lines, hydraulics, and electrical connections to molds and equipment at start-up.
• Clean all set-up tools, equipment, and spilled water.
• Follow all safety procedures and efficiently manage time to complete assigned tasks.
• Report damage, defects, and non-conformances to supervisors.

• Experience with overhead cranes and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations.
• Must be able to use micrometers, gauges, and other related equipment.
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions.
