Position Overview:

The Caregiver role, under the supervision of the Home Care Supervisor, focuses on delivering vital personal care services to participants in their residences, adhering to established schedules and protocols.

Core Duties:

  • Deliver direct personal care and support with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) including light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping.
  • Monitor and document participants' vital signs, aid in meal preparation and feeding, ensure adequate hydration, facilitate safe transfers, and accompany participants to medical appointments.
  • Collaborate with the Rehabilitation department on home exercise initiatives and provide translation services when necessary.
