Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist I, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and assess patients to establish functional, measurable goals to promote restoration of functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients based on subjective and objective information.
  • Develop a written plan of care to meet established goals.
  • Provide treatment according to established goals on the plan of care.
  • Document interventions/care in the patient's medical record.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care while reassessing the patient's functional status.
  • Provide discharge planning information, including patient/family education, follow-up, and referral to community resources.
  • Contribute to the development of staff and students.
  • Participate in activities designed to improve healthcare delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in physical therapy principles and practices. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Additionally, you will need to have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field, and be licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Arkansas. You will also need to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire.
