About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Riverdale Post Acute. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure the highest quality of care is maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.
Requirements
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or an approved LPN/LVN program.
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN in Colorado.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and Colorado CAPS background check.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
