Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with Interventional Radiologists to provide comprehensive care for patients. This role requires a strong clinical background and expertise in radiology, with a focus on pre-assessment, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-assessment and intervention procedures under imaging guidance
  • Complete history and physical exams, order diagnostic studies, and interpret test results
  • Develop and implement patient treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Provide oral and written communication with referring physicians and other clinical staff
  • Participate in process improvement projects and serve as an educational resource for patients, families, and staff
Qualifications
  • Minimum 12 months of clinical experience in radiology
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS training
  • Master's degree as a physician assistant in radiology
  • Current license from the Texas Medical Board to practice as a Physician Assistant
  • Preferably with National accreditation certification in the area of specialty
Education and Licensure
