  • Equipment Familiarity: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all Draw Tower equipment, including part names and terminology.
  • Training and Development: Complete requirements for Training Checklists and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
  • Product Quality: Clean and fire polish standard tubing products with supervision, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Process Monitoring: Efficiently monitor standard tubing draws, using a microscope to verify product dimensions and reels as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Recognize process and equipment problems, bringing them to the attention of supervisors and assisting co-workers as needed.
  • Safety Procedures: Follow established safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Shift Preparation: Check the schedule board daily, gathering information on tower operations from the previous shift operator.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support and Maintenance: Provide support and maintenance as required, including changes to gas cylinders, emptying and replacing trash barrels, and cleaning coating bucket parts.
  • Pre-Shift Preparation: Ensure the area, applicators, and buckets are ready for the next shift.
  • Data Entry and Administration: Accurately complete data entry and paperwork related to the manufacturing area.
  • Quality Management: Understand, support, and contribute to current Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO), and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
  • Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience: Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in a mechanical or manufacturing position, military, or related field.
