Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse automation equipment, including conveyor systems, sorters, and palletizers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems, including PLCs, HMI, and sensors.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems with other warehouse operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Vocational or technical certification in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment, intermediate level.
  • Working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems, intermediate level.
  • Demonstrated independent problem-solving capability, intermediate level.
  • Ability to use PLC and HMI programming software, including Allen Bradley, Ignition, and Wonderware.
  • Understanding of 24VDC control systems, photoelectric and proximity sensors, intermediate level.
  • Experience with programming and troubleshooting servo and stepper motors and related software, intermediate level.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and program bar code scanners and other vision systems, including Cognex, Datalogic, and Keyence.
  • Knowledge of warehouse maintenance safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, fall restraint, and forklift/MHE operational safety.
  • Ability to work independently in a safe manner, including working at heights.
