About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Intern to join our team at The Meadows Behavioral Healthcare. As a Clinical Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conducting individual and group therapy, including family therapy. You will also attend lectures, meetings, and trainings on clinical processes.

Responsibilities
  • Observe individual and group therapy sessions
  • Observe co-facilitation of family therapy sessions
  • Attend lectures on primary and family schedules
  • Observe the multi-disciplinary treatment team
  • Observe aftercare staff in planning for discharge and post-discharge activities
  • Observe documentation, including treatment planning, progress notes, and discharge summary
  • Participate in trainings and meetings as assigned
  • Observe intake process
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be in the process of obtaining a Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health or related field that leads to a career in Counseling, Social Work, or Human Services. You must also be able to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
