Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to identify their level of function and develop treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide physical therapy services to complex patient populations, including those with multiple diagnoses and acuities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Teach and educate patients, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements.
- Assist with the collection of quality metrics and analytics to inform care decisions.
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for physical therapists.
- Two years of experience as a physical therapist, or completion of a Houston Methodist or comparable physical therapy residency program.
- State licensure as a physical therapist, with compact license acceptable according to current ECPTOTE requirements.
